Us
Computer Medic Center was established in 1991 and began
operations that year as a PC sales and service company. The primary
emphasis of the company was to sell PC’s manufactured by the company
and to provide a customer retail repair center to service their PC’s
and other major brand PC’s. The company entered the network service
arena during the early years and provided support to small
businesses in the South Florida area. A couple of years later the
company opened another retail repair center in West Palm Beach. The
growth of the company continued during the 1990’s as the PC market
expanded, and Computer Medic became a recognized leader in the local
area.
In 2002 the company was sold to a seasoned IT executive and former CIO, that
had a vision to enter new markets and to expand the company’s service offerings
to include professional services for mid size and large companies. As a result,
Avalon Technology Group (ATG) was formed and the vision began to take
shape. The groups main focus was to provide high-end services that matched the
new owner’s profile of extensive IT experiences. The professional services group
has grown into a distinguished provider of consulting and technical services
that recognizes a strategic alliance between technology and business as vital to
any business or industry in this millennium. The suite of services is very
comprehensive and covers the “solution life cycle”, a methodology developed by
ATG principals and covers the spectrum from problem identification, processes,
standard operating procedures, solution identification and subsequent
implementation.
